Macaulay Carson Culkin was born on 26 August 1980, to Christopher Culkin and Patricia Brentrup. He was born in Manhattan, New York City. His father Christopher was a stage actor, and his mother was a telephone operator. His father and mother never married but the couple has seven children. He attended St. Joseph’s School of Yorkville and Professional Children’s School. 

Career

At the age of four, he started his acting career. He worked for small roles in television movies, and small theatres. He appeared in a horror comedy film, The Midnight Hour. In 1988, he appeared in a popular action series, The Equalizer. In 1990, he was cast in a comedy blockbuster Home Alone as Kevin McCallister. In 1991, he starred in the animated TV cartoon series Wish Kid. In 1991, he starred in My Girl. He appeared in several films including See You in the Morning, Rocket Gibraltar, Uncle Buck, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, The Good Son, The Nutcracker, Getting Even with Dad, The Pagemaster, and Richie Rich. The Wrong Ferarri, American Horror Story: Double Feature, and Changeland.

He also hosted Saturday Night Live. He appeared in a music video Sunday.

In 1990 and 1991, he won American Comedy Awards, Chicago Film Critics Association, and Young Artist Awards for his role in Home Alone. In 1992, he won the MTV Movie Awards for his role in My Girl. Personal Life 

In 2010, Culkin began dating Mila Kunis. The couple ended their relationship in 2011. He began dating Brenda Song in 2017. The couple has a child and named her Dakota Song Culkin, after Culkin’s late sister. 

In 2000, Culkin’s sister, Jennifer Adamson died of a drug overdose, and his older sister Dakota died in a car accident in 2008. In 2004, Culkin was arrested for possession of drugs.
